    Minor crash

So I fell with my bike. Going about 30 km/h, the road was turning and full of gravel, the front wheel completely lost any grip. The road was slightly damped on that patch and completely covered in dirt and small rocks. Perhaps it was also my mistake, perhaps I used too much front brake. I have...

    Tyre wear.

Hi fellow MT users, took a trip to the Bike show at Excel a while back and noticed that the MT07 on the Yamaha stand has Bridgestone tyres fitted. I've had my bike a year now and clocked up just over 6000 miles of mixed riding on the O/E Michelin Pilots which have proved amazing and are hardly...

You know why Aus gets the carp gutless LAMS version?

Wonder why Yamaha went to all the trouble to make a special garbage version of the MT07? It is an insult and a pay back for Casey Stoner flogging them in MotoGp on Ducati's and Handa's. Didn't realize that did you. In Eurpoe they just put a throttle restrictor on, but here ECU specially made so...

Hi all there are few things in life that give you a bigger smile than riding your bike, however just call me the Joker as my smile from riding my new Moto cage is ear to ear. from Chester we went past llandegla and up to the horseshoe [ponderosa with a Akra minus it's DB killer] oh my god is...

    Smile :)

As a consequence of some recent threads discussing the negatives of the MT-07 (don't get me wrong they are very valid discussions e.g. rust) I thought we should redress the balance and remember what we love about this bike. So name the first thing about the MT-07 that made you...

    Would you keep your MT07?

Knowing your MT07, and had a chance to swap it for an other bike in its range, would you keep it or get rid of it?

Official Yamaha numberplate holder rusting away!

    Mirror change

Has anyone changed there mirrors on the MT-07 for new ones? The OME mirrors give me very poor viability but i do love the styling they bring to the bike. If you have changed them can ii see some pictures please? Thanks

    Rear brake performance.

Need some advice. I came from a cruiser with a large wide rear drum brake to the MT07 with disc. I find the brakes to be unusual, in that some times it feels good and other times it feels weak. I am by nature a rear brake rider most notability when coming to a stop at lights etc, I like to bilp...
