Well my mate was after a 2.5k bike and did some window shopping on thursday doing usual Honda, Kwaka and Yamaha dealers. Dropped into my dealer where i bought my MT07 Abs last year and got chatting to the owner. Like a kid in a candy store again i hovered towards the MT09 and was promptly told...

dealer would probably be easier though

Think ill try the WD40 trick too. Was just using elbow grease and soapy water before.

Ill probably smarten it up a bit then ACF50 too. Ive gotta keep mine ship shape for three years with the pcp finance i took through Yamaha/Blackhorse. Just out of interest do you use the aerosol ACF50 or the spray/fill can type? Im ordering some chain lube & cleaner and will grab some ACF too...

Has anyone else having problems with aftermarket accessories? I had ridden my bike about four or five times this year and inevitably picked up some road salt on the bike. I washed it off on Sunday and the bike came up all shiny apart from the Yamaha number plate holder. Very disappointed...

gah its looks weird! I thought i was going to be jealous as the MT-09 street rally looks cool but this just doesn't work. Each to their own though i suppose. I get grief for owning an MT-07 by the sports bike fanboys anyway but i love the bike (just wish it was six inches higher for my frame)

haha i didnt even know they flexed then after reading this thread i remembered when i was at some traffic lights i gave them a yank like the ultimate warrior. (i laughed in my helmet much to the concern of the other motorists)

yeah im not sure if its something recent but was all over the place on a roundabout. i may have let a little out trying to put the gauge on but it was certainly mid 20's max :/
