Wife bought me this about 2 years back used it 3 times
2 on cars one on the bike with 100% success,
does what it says on the tin, this is the bike tyre I just
took off, it's done about 4,000 over that time it as not
lost a lb in pressure, same with the car.

The camera picks up the plug on the outside of the tyre
much better than the eye, it is quite difficult to fine were
it is very difficult when on the vehicle.

Read the instructions re safety/temporary repair and slow speed
but as a get you home I will use them again.

There are two types of plugs though.

There's the roadside emergency type, which isn't rated for more than 60mph, and is supposed to be removed as soon as possible. Seems that's what you're using there, and this isn't safe at all.

The other type is the permanent mushroom type, which is fitted from the inside of the tyre and held with strong glue. Those are permanent and the tyre can be used as normal. I've had 10k miles out of a permanently plugged tyre.

If that one in the photo is the first type, you really need to get it fixed. The fact it lasted 4k miles is as much luck as anything else.

The pic shows the tyre off the bike due to it being replaced so at the moment
I am plug free but would use the system again rather than wait for the recovery
or walk. though you are right this should be used as a temporary repair at reduced speed.
