Hi
I just got my MT-07 last week. It is a Race Blue, full power model.
This is my first Yamaha, I have mostly had Honda , this i the bikes I have had since ´99 almost in order :
- Suzuki GSXR250 ´91
- Suzuki GSX750F ´04
- Honda CB750 ´72
- Yamaha DT175 ´97
- Honda CBX250 ´88
- Lifan 250
- Honda CBR1100xx ´97
- Honda VTR1000F ´98
- Then 6 year pause "Kids
"
- Yamaha MT-07 ´14
So far I am loving it, lots of torque, and enough power to keep it fun, and love the weight, it is as light as my 250 bikes, but have allmost as much torque as my big bikes.
I have only made these 2 mods so far :
- Akrapovic exhaust system " Db killer moded by cutting of 1cm of the inner pipes"
- Rizoma windscreen
- When its time for the 1000km check, then it will have another Airfilter fitted, and then optimized on a dyno.
In the winter I will try to make a tail tidy or by one on Ebay.
