I just thought i would be the first to say Happy Christmas to everyone,
lets see how many responses i get to see how many of you are neglecting thier bikes?
Well, I traded in my MT07 today and collect my new bike on Monday.
The 07 has been a good little bike but I've come to the conclusion that I prefer something larger with more cylinders.
Trouble is, bikes like that now seem to fall into two categories: Full-on sportsbikes (which are just too...
Check this very nice video out.. Is the MT07 one of those bike's that's going to be a base bike of people creations to come.?

Interesting this.
I use my MT07 mostly to commute, and occasionally at weekends. I use my R1 for weekends, and occasionally to commute. I could have just one bike of course, but I like having a spare, it's 2 hours to get to work from where I am on public transport, the bike is less than an...
:) I thought I would ask MT-07 owners if the MT-07 is really like a modern day RD 400 or RD 350?
Being a 2007 ER-6F owner I think the MT-07 is the bike for me if it is like those bikes I described
because I had a 1977 Yamaha RD 400, and that was and still is my favorite bike. I'm concerned...
Just a quick video to show my MT07 and some of the extra's i have added..

Hi Group. Three weeks ago I bought an MT-07 from another forum member, GAZ2212. It has been extensively and thoughtfully modified, regardless of cost and I am now benefitting from the experience and competence of Gary, the previous owner. You are probably aware of this bike, since Gary has...
I was wondering weather anyone has traded in their MT-07 for the MT-09.
I am on a MT-07 and was thinking of trading in and swapping for the MT-09 does anyone know what value Yamaha will give for my 2015 MT-07 so I could get a rough value of what I would need to pay.
Also has anyone rode both...
Just to say hello to you all , my name is Dave and I got myself an MT-07 about a month ago and love it to bits , decided that at nearly fifty and with the back ache taking longer to go after every ride that it was time to give up the sports bikes for something with a better riding position , so...

Hi all
I have a ABBA stand and correct fittings, however you have to remove parts of the machine to actually use it.
as you may be aware this is a pain in the arse when all you want to do is a quick lift and clean, which I may add on other bikes takes 10 seconds with this stand.
so I am...
There's a new motorcycle game called Ride coming out on 20th March 2015. I thought it might interest folk here because it's got loads of standard 2014 bikes from all the major manufacturers, including (of course) the MT-07 and MT-09.
Here's the official site: Ride Videogame
Here's the list of...
Thought I would wash the bike today after a week of riding in this lovely British weather and found rust on the swing arm really pissed bikes only 2 weeks old :( has anyone having the same problem? will post pic when I get five.
Hi!
I'm planning to buy the r&g heated grips (they seem to be really good and the price is excellent!). The thing is I don't have any idea about how to plug them to the battery. I've seen some tutorials installing them into other bikes, but none to the MT-07. Some people say that the optimal...

I replaced the rear indicators with Yamaha LED ones and the connectors din't match the bikes wiring - I assume the front ones are the same, bullet connectors on the new indicators but a single connector on the bikes wiring?
Also as I have the inline resistors on the rear indicators I don't need...
