Hi

My bike haven't been in use the last month. So after a quick wash I tried to start the bike. I had a few problems but then I push started it, and now it starts fine.
BUT NOW the ABS light is on all the time.. :( What can be causing this?

Can anybody please help?

Thanks

EDIT: It started working again - sorry!:D

Not had a ABS bike but on a car I had not used found light on until it had a run and used brakes a few times think it might just need a run.
Always warm bike up before wash so it dries up water on the electrics

I always let the bike cool down before washing it, as I don't like squirting cold water onto a hot engine or exhaust (I've heard horror stories of engine cases cracking with the thermal shock).

In warm weather I don't bother, but when it's cold I do start the engine AFTER washing and run until the fan cuts in, to drive the water off.

But having said all that, I suspect it's often condensation, rather than water from washing, that causes these electrical gremlins.

Low battery, charging can be the problem. Or battery is almost dead. Look at the tension(contact off pos) electronics don't like low tension .
