I have a US bike, but replaced the original US turned signals with European turn signals ( smaller and MUCH better looking), but I don't find them very bright. So I wanted to upgrade to LED.
Concerning the flashing rate, the swap did increase the flashing rate, but being a non issue with the law...
I would like to replace the original turn signal bulbs with improve LED visibility. Is it possible? I removed the original bulbs, but is there a standard size to which I can order some LED, if again, I can gain in illumination (visibility). I am talking about the original European turn signals.
I have had mine setup directly to the battery with no issue, as long as you don't let your GPS on your bike for hours while parked, but a thief will make sure to dismount your GPS and save your battery :o
Here is how I mount it

Good choice on the case. I find mine extremely practical. So much can be carried in the 40 lt case, its amazing, even so its mounted so far behind the bike, I don't find it to kill too much the look of the MT, but you know what they say about tastes and colors, each his own :)
A very simple mod to replace that piece of sh*t they call a horn
I don't understand why ALL bike manufacturers only give us a cheap excuse for a horn. One of the most important safety item on a bike.
Anyway, here is how to easily replace the horn.

This my Long Term Review of the MT-07 / FZ-07. If you can think of anything else to add to my review, please post a comment.

It really depends on your size and helmet shake you can take.
I am 5'6, have an Ermax windshield of 39cm and have no issue with extended time at 75mph.
I received my rear rack and the Shad 40L top case I ordered few days ago.
It was a PITA to install the rack. Yamaha engineering is terrible. I managed to cut the holes on each side of the bike, with some little scratches on the plastic. It would have been nice for Yamaha to include some pre-cut...
That's the way to go. Don't bother with the more expensive motorcycle specific GPS, unless you do some serious adventure touring and need a GPS for off road as well.
The Garmin Nuvi serie, and I think the newest one is the Nuvi 55Lm (Amazon.com: Garmin nüvi 55LM GPS Navigators System with Spoken...
I find the shifting on the MT to be very rough. Every time I shift, up or down, to have a very definite CLUNK. Most of other bikes I have owned, if memory serve me well, have been a lot smoother. What's your impression?
If there is one thing I can't stand with the MT07 is its plastic gas tank. It is my first bike with a plastic tank and I find it unpractical at best.
I try to carry over my gears from one bike to the next, and of course, my magnet tank bag will not work.
So I purchased a new tank bag, the...
certainly TWAT. Even my 13 years old daughter knows that "loud pipes are for riders with a complex". I did brain wash her on this one since she was 5 years old. I LOVE brain washing :)
But as a respectable biker, you shouldn't rely on noise to make your self safe. Instead, you should see...
