MT-07 Exhaust Sound & Essential Mods

Def, the photo is from internet just to show how R&G protector looks like. However since MT-07 has different angle of Yoshi placement, the R&G protector should be placed at the end of the exhaust. As for the exhaust itself I bought from Motostarz.com (Yoshimura Race R77 Stainless Steel Full...

MT-07 Exhaust Sound & Essential Mods

Today I have my Yoshimura exhaust installed. The sound and the look are exactly as I expected... even better. However I just realized that the exhaust is totally unprotected in case of a side crash. And it's carbon surface is probably not fixable then. This is non-obvious advantage of...

    Sick Screen !!!

Jeppebm, I am also confused by engraved white logo, which to me is a not a good taste )). however I thought of carefully filing the engraved lines with some kind of black or dark red paint to make it more subtle. This may solve the " big logo problem"...

Hi Tommeke, Sorry to see the scratches ((, but the engine looks unaffected and that's cool, isn't? Just imagine the result without the sliders! ) I also installed sliders from SW-Motech (Frame Slider Kit. Black. Yamaha MT-07 (14-). - SW-MOTECH und BAGS-CONNECTION) and wheel spindle bobbins...

Fitting radiator guard with side covers

Rouqui, I agree with you, as I also was struggling with the look of those ugly aluminium upper and lower edges of radiator - they are seen even with Evotech radiator guard, which has the maximum coverage surface. Recently one custom bike maker told me: "We can just paint the entire radiator...

    Radiator cover

I am not good in hardware )), but I wonder why it's ok to cover the front side of radiator (where dissipation is maximum), but it's not ok to cover the upper edge (where I assume dissipation is moderate)...

MT07 Review after 1500 miles with loads od mods and AKRA

Hi Loneranger, How do you feel the impact of the Rizoma screen "before-after" installation? Aesthetically it's way better than other screens on the market, but I am concerned that due to it's small size it has no effect on wind reduction and adds nothing but beauty to the bike. )) What's your...
