As a GSXR 750 rider and ex club racer, rear brakes are for Moto GP guys and stop signs on a hill. Never really use it on the street or track. I'm just saying.
Those are great pics but from what I can see you will not be able to take the rear wheel off with that set up. I'm not even sure one could adjust the chain.
Does anyone know if that silver colored metal cover is cosmetic or structural? I was at a dealer today and the sales girl didn't know and they wouldn't let me take it off. The left side is the one I'm concerned with. Is it just covering something up? It had a small bit of play to it. If I can...

The bike looks great! Yosh makes first class stuff. Is the sound baffle on the exhaust easy to remove? Not that I'm a big fan of overly loud bikes on the street.
Thanks
Please post some pics of the Yosh products on your bike. Also if you can expand on the new exhaust, sound, material, expected cost and ease of instillation.

It's a personal preference thing. Most racers use this pattern. There are a few turns on the track where I don't use the clutch. Pushing down to go up a gear works better for me. If I just rode on the street I would use the stock setup.

Thanks, I was hoping that would be all I have to do, just like my GSXR. I have a buddy with a FZ-09 and it's not possible to turn the clamp in order to get the GP shift pattern. It looks like that won't be a problem on the FZ-07.
Hi folks
After racing for a few years I changed over to a GP shift pattern. I still plan to do a limited amount of club racing and plenty of track days on my GSXR. It would be to much trouble to keep the standard shift pattern on the FZ-07 I plan to get. Does anybody have a mod or using GP...
Howdy folks
I just got a good look at the FZ-07 at the World Super Bike races at Monterey Laguna Seca raceway this weekend. I think I'm hooked, the FZ-09 is a great bike but I thought it was just a bit of overkill for me. I think the FZ-07 is going to be perfect. I'll wait about six months...
