I test rode an MT-09 at the Manchester "Dark Side of Japan" tour this weekend. The Yamaha rep told me that all the MT-09s on demo had had the just-released throttle/fuelling mod. He was at pains to tell me it wasnt a full remap, just a small mod to simulate electronically the effect of one of...
I was in Matlock Bath this afternoon: one other MT in deep armour, arrow exhaust, Oxford heated grips....but no owner in sight. Any of you guys? I know its not you TJ as yours is white....
Re slow starting: I read somewhere that the 07 has an automatic decompressor linked to the starter, making it easier to spin up and allowing a smaller battery and lighter starter motor. My guess is an engine management programme does not release the decompressor until it has spun the set number...

2 RFID glass beads about the size of grains of rice. The mechanic fitted one in a wiring loom, the other inside seat foam
Clear "paint" with microdots inside (look like black sand grains)) I got the left over so I could put more if I wanted. Odd...
