What should I clew an my exhaust with?

Hi Guys.

I've had my leovince on for about 2 months now & with my bike living outside & the snowy winter we've had in the UK it's absolutely filthy. Some of the dirt is pretty well bedded in.

Does anyone have any advice on what product(s) to use to clean it. I've used PEEK for cleaning metal before which will make it look like new but i'm not sure if it'll take any protective coating off.

Any help is much appreciated.

I'm not in the UK, so I can't recommend a particular product, but you could try some non-acid wheel cleaner. Preferably a gel type, spray it on and leave it on for a while.
Also a good de-greaser/tar remover could work well.
If you can get Bilt Hamber in the UK, they have some good products.
I use one called surfex HD as a tough wheel cleaner, this does not remove asphalt that well though.
One called Korrosol is great for removing carbon buildup, pretty much the same as iron-x but smells like bubble gum.
