Removing the lambda sensor

Hello,

Recently I have bought and akrapovic Titanium exhaust for a friends MT-07.

But the lambda sensor has a diferent screw and it didnt had any Adaptor.

What are the consequences of removing it?

The bike runs fine..

I ran my bike for a while with a blanking nut as akrapovic didn't send adapter for the carbon exhaust at first, as we know that the O2 sensor is just there for emissions control from the EU.

Never had an issue and the Ecu never threw up a problem either. I had read that the O2 sensor had more of a wider band than standard and that's why the fuel economy was better (how much this is true who knows).

So with that said it played on my mind and made sure that akrapovic sent me the adapter.
So I had no problems just all mentally, if you keep an eye out for the signs of problems (like discolouring of the headers at engine level for overheating) you should be fine. (I am not a mechanic tho).
