I don't if anyone else is have this thought/problem (how ever you want to think of it) but as I'm in Australia and how Awesome the sun can here at times I've started to cover my dash cluster with an old beanie so that the Dash isn't in direct sunlight and cook the screen. Anyway long story short is anyone else worried about it or am i being a nervous nelly????

Not seen it on the MT but have on other LCD screens were it as gone
totally black it then recovers as it cools down, not seen any long lasting
effects though.

I could see the value of someone creating a clip on sun shield that shadows it whilst riding, and could be flapped down over it when parked for very hot sunny countries.

I'm sure something could be moulded not unlike the hard, clip on plastic cases for mobile phones.
I think your on the something there @Phil_B kinda like the flip sunny on proscription glasses! nice
