Tw586. Can you explain you comment about TPS in the other derestriction thread? No problem now? Could your previous limp home problem have been due to air/ fuel ratios because of the retracted internal stacks as mentioned here?
Gregjet. This sound like the breakthrough we have all been waiting for. Do you think that the reprogrammed ecu is important? Did you buy the unlimited throttle stop or modify the original
Kiwi Yam website says your bike is learner approved so probably restricted same as Oz. Check out this post for more details on restrictions http://www.motorcycle-talk.net/forum/mt-07-fz-07-general-discussion/601-restricted-mt-07-a.html
RAYDEO. Do you have power and torque figures for your 655cc Kiwi MT? Does it have full throttle range or is it limited to 45 degrees like the Oz version?
Aussie MT-07 capacity reduced to 650cc with throttle & Ecuador restrictions to meet learned requirements. Full size/ power version not available in Oz.
I had a couple of stalls in first 1000 kms but I'm 99% sure they were my own fault. Had some ambient temperatures over 38 degs.C (100 deg.F)...
Does anyone have any experience with sprocket ratio modifications. There's a 16/43 ratio combo available on eBay. I don't even know the original ratio but would be interested in any comments. We have rediculously low speed limits in Oz and huge speeding fines but they haven't figured out a way...
