Yamaha did it the wrong way around...they ignition should have been where the dash is, and dash where the ignition is. No logic in this design :confused:.

I would recommend doing something about the finish of this bike, no matter what color you pick. The Yamaha decals on the tank is on the outside, zero protection and will very like get damaged over time. I would pick deep amour and give it 2X or 3X clear coat asap. That Yamaha decal will come...

De problemer der tydeligvis er med at den her model's motor går ud, om det er fejltænding, fejl i indsprøjningen, software, eller en kombination, det er har Yamaha endnu ikke givet noget officielt svar på. Det er ikke alle modeller der er påvirket ser det ud til. Men et problem er der helt...

Ixil laver også en løsning, dog ikke så pæn som Akrapovic synes jeg. men meget billigere. Personligt havde jeg valgt Akrapovic uden katalysator fordi den lyder godt og ser super ud på cyklen. Meeeen, jeg køber ikke noget før yamaha har fået løst deres insprøjnings problemer med MT 07.

Thanks for correcting me sdrio. The sooner this MT 07 engine problem gets solved the sooner i will put my MT 07 in order. I hope they fix this before the spring, otherwise my money is going in the direction of Kawasaki or somehting else than Yamaha.

The issue with the MT 07 is that many users report the engine cutting out, simply turning OFF, all it takes is a blib with the trottle in neutral or with clutch pulled in. It has nothing to do with normal stalling - that can happen with any bike.. For thoose that has experienced totally...

Please read the entire tread to understand to problem. This has nothing to do with stalling. It has noting to do with pulling off/taking off. This MT 07 problem dosnt have anything to do with the clutch, you dont even have to touch the clutch to make the problem appear. As shown in the video...

I heard the akra with baffle in and no cat. One word : Awesome. Not to loud, but still a powerfull growl when giving it some jouice and plenty loud to make notice of the bike. Im sure i would not run in without baffle, it would be way to loud and for sure annoy people around the bike.

And what does the dealship say about this ? I know i would for sure go nuts if i ever buy an MT07 and it has this problem, i would immediately require the dealership to either : 1. Fix it asap! 2. Give full refund 3. Exhange the bike for a new one without problems.

I wonder if there is any downsides in : Changing the stock fork oil for a thicker one ? Using engine oil instead of specific fork oil ? I know absolutly nothing about suspension, but i can imagine i would want to do something to improve the soft suspension on this model.

Sounds great Gaz ! I wonder if the bike will run just as good with no cat but DB killer combo as with CAT in but no DB killer. I guess its all about how much backpressure the exhaust provides.

Ugh,,, :( that sucks. What does the dealship say about this ? sorry if you already answered this earlier, i have not read the entire tread yet. I know i would have gone bananas if i had this issue with a brand now motorcycle !
