As I was looking for alternative storage space, I come across this one. Its a tail bag with an elastic bottom that wraps around the seat cover, hence making it looks custom made. When not used, it doesn't affect the looks of the bike too much. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9yBg77fRxg

What is the brand of the rear bag that you have ? It looks very nice on the bike. How do you secure it ?

There is a Motech tank ring available for the 07 ( which is the same for the 09 ) . I saw the photo, it is in black and doesn't look metallic.

I also experience some "cling cling cling cling" noise ( not loud ) when the bike goes beyond 40 kph. It seems like its caused by the wind running through some loose parts. its quite annoying.

Wonder if something can be done to improve the sound of the exhaust without having to install a new system ( like AKRA ). Maybe a mod to the internal exhaust parts. I like the color of the original header ( more brownish ) and would like to keep it that way.

Has any one tried fitting a tank bag ? I used to have a MOtech Engage on my ER-6n with the older type tank ring. I can buy a new EVO tank ring from Yamaha dealer, but when I put the bag on the bike to test it out, it seems like the instrument panel will be in the way.
