Thanx for the info, its only a minor nuisance, and happens once in a while, will adjust clutch cable and report back if problem persists.

When I start my bike with clutch pulled in all the way and in 1st gear, in cold weather, the bike starts to set off , quite strongly, without me releasing the clutch, and as soon as its started then its fine again. It does not happen in neutral, and only when engine is very cold. Anyone else's...

Why are most against the race blue?

For some reason reminds me of the ducati 899 exhaust... I think it will look awsum once attached to the MT.

Ok that's a relief!! I have only done 300km so don't know what "normal" is, but the engine runs smooth, has NOT stalled once and stays well within normal operating temperatures. Anyway will check what happens during tomorrow's ride. Thanx for the info.

Coming directly out of the exhaust pipe and hits just underneath that, on the exhaust heat shield. Any advice as how I must handle this?

I just finished washing my bike and saw that there was liquid stains on the exhaust pipe. Cleaned it off and started the bike and revved it a bit and then I saw the liquid stains reappeared... I put my hand over the exhaust and revved again and felt the liquid hit my hand and it smells like...

I've been researching the MT-07 for quiet a while now, I have taken all the rivals and issues into consideration and have done my research well, going back and forth, making my mind up and changing it again about a hundred times over the last 3 months. I needed a commuter bike for city traffic...

Did Yamaha even test the MT-07 in real world conditions? There are just way too many people who have reported a stalling issue with the MT-07, and this form a modern "reliable" bike? This can't be considered acceptable!!

I'm planning on buying mine next week (in race blue) as soon as my current bike is sold, but those stalling issues everyone is talking about has me very worried!!! I contacted Linex Yamaha in Randburg...

I asked Yamaha South Africa the first time I saw a bunch of people complaining about the cut-out issues. They responded with the following "We have not received any complaints of this issue from owners in South Africa, and the Factory have not informed us of any issues regarding the MT07 either...
