Just a thought......... These extenders are probably made by Injection Moulding so there will be a thin film of "release agent" on the surface of the part which helps production remove it from the mould. If this is not cleaned off properly, no adhesive will hold it for long.

Seat has come and is fitted back onto the MT. Approx 10mm thick Memory Foam has been added on top of the original foam, then re covered with original seat fabric. A tight fit but possible. A few wrinkles need sorting out (on back corners of seat pad) with a heat gun just to have the covering...

Do you mean this part? If so, get them powder coated. They'll look much better. Note: The plastic bungs at the bottom are clipped in AND held with double sided pads. If you remover them, take the whole plate off first and release the two little tabs on the back of the cap and gently push out...

Seat now modified and being sent back to me as of yesterday. I expressed the fact that I had a lean bum before the alteration so the result should be interesting. Once received I'll post a picture of the end product, then give it a run over the same journey that I suffered the agony on.
