The fueling issue with the 09 is why I'm really anxious to get on it. Some people are really put off by it, others don't seem to be bothered much. I'm not really seeking raw power, but size/dimension wise it looks like the 09 will be a good medium between the 07 and my current bike. Comfort is...
Rode the 07, and my one real complaint was how close the instrument cluster was. It felt like i was trying to look at my knees to see it. Granted once I got a good feel for the bike I wouldn't have to look at it near as much. Hoping I can get on the 09 today.
So the 07s are finally popping up in dealerships locally. I've been arguing with myself for months now between an 09 and 07, and I'm hoping the test rides help me out.
Any tips/advice on things to pay special attention to that might make one more/less appealing than the other? I understand they...

Very reassuring guys. Thanks for the input. My FZ6R mirrors definitely get distorted at idle, but not all that terrible.
I'm getting really excited to get on one for a bit. If a test ride goes smooth my FZ6R is getting put up for sale ASAP.
Wow, 5,500 rpms at 80 is quite a bit lower than my FZ6R at 7,500 or so. That tingling is what I am hoping to address; hands and feet feel like they are asleep after some time. As far as comfort in general; the ergo's look similar to what I'm on now. So unless the seat is a plank of wood I think...
Currently I have a FZ6R, and am looking to change things up a bit. My only real complaint about the FZ6R is vibrations going 70+ mph. After an hour or so on the highway the hands and feet get very uncomfortable. I know the 07's engine is designed with vibrations in mind, but I'd like to hear 1st...
