Painting Rims?

Hi guys,

My bike, when it arrives, is the white edition. But instead of just rimstripes - i would like to investigate the option of coloring the rims fx white in my case -
How to do it yourself? bad idea? - TELL me :D havent tried stuff like that before.

Having someone do it.. what does that normally cost - any ideas? - Fellow countrymen (Denmark) - be sure to let me know if you try it :D

There is a process I've seen on youtube where they dip the whole thing, but usually that's to make a pattern, not just a solid colour. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIgBsqG5J9c

Also, wonder if plastidip would be a good idea, it's reversible if you don't like it - although with wheels I wonder how long it would last, and how much of a pain it would be to get it all off if youw anted to.

Have you mocked it up in photoshop? that's what I normally do when I have ideas like that.

i used a can of plastidip on each of my truck tires last year.
the color is still strong now but the layers are thinning at spots

I would go for red - as white wheels would be a real pig to keep clean from the muck of the chain.
