With my wife on the back we're at around 180kg I would imagine with gear on. I have it on max preload anyway (I'm 110kg) and I am pleasantly surprised with how it rides. I don't touch the tyre pressures either.

I was thinking of booking on the Bike Safe police course as I hear alot of good things. ....however I was wondering if I rock up with my akra (without DB killer) and not quite legal number plate size are they going to 1) turn me away 2) get legal on me!! Thanks

You must be crazy or rich to pay out £4000 in insurance a year! I pay about £700 to insure my mt07 and my M3...I think that's expensive!

Did you see the 3pm show? There was all of about 10 people watching lol I didn't have any gear with me so didn't bother asking about demos etc plus the wife would have been bored stiff!

Any one go to this? I had a drive down but there wasn't much going on. I timed it right to see the stunt show though :cool:

This is my first bike with a fuel gauge so it's an absolute luxury for me not to worry about spluttering to a stop and switching to reserve!

what about the hundreds/thousands of people that see your bike each week on the road - no difference. If someone wants to find an mt-07 number plate to clone it wouldn't be difficult
