Dynotech are 20 mins from us. Went there when I first got my MT way back in 2013. Got simon to re-write the map they put on as it wasn't very good. I wish you all the best at Bramley. Let us know how it goes

You will need to go onto Dynojet's website and check the model number for the 07. If it is the same as the versys 650 you can use it. It will need professionally mapping especially if you want it to have 2 different maps loaded on.
That's a bit of a grey area because there's no law as such as to how loud an exhaust can be. i.e on an MOT it's down to the discretion of the tester. Same as when a police officer stops you he can only tell you to put it back in
Scorpions and FZ8's go well together. I took the cat out of mine as well. Very loud
On a serious note...
Every 09 with an Akraprovic fitted that we've flashed or mapped has always had the baffle out because it performs way better but I get your point on the horse situation
So here's the long awaited charts.
1) This is stock bike compared to flashed bike with carbon akra, baffle fitted, k&n, plus new fuel & ignition maps on ecu & o2 optimizer fitted.
2) Flashed bike showing A/F & power & torque at 7000rpm for comparison to other dyno charts.
3) Chart shows...
Yes we have seen up near the 60's. Mainly around 56-58 I think. And that's from doing around 90 Dyno runs with all the taps wide open. It's a bloody good little engine to be honest.
Is that figure at the crank or wheel?
I'm surprised uv got 69bhp. We've managed 72-73 at the rear after a few goes at mapping it? Are you going to get it done anymore?
I rode a 50 for 6 months back in the day..
I bought a gixxer 750 and booked my das. The day I passed I rode to the dealers and picked up my new bike. I loved my 50 though lol. We de-restricted it, put bigger jets in the carbs and lightened rollers. It did 65 lol. Every time I got on it I thought...
I usually copper slip mine and give them a gentle tap to make sure they're seated correctly. The headers will push them home when you tighten up the nuts on the studs.
It's not going to gain masses of hp because it's not that kind of engine but there should be more torque, smoother fuelling. Higher rev limiter. Lower fan temperatures and s few more bits.
