High beam doesn't "dazzle" them in the day just helps them see you. I also always ride with highs on during the day. I've actually seen this recommended more and more. In Canada we have Daylight Running Lights on our cars and essentially the high beams!

So yours $261 plus $500 about $761 per year in Quebec (not sure how old you are or how long licensed) Mine $591 plus $65 about $656 per year Ontario (based on 34 years licensed here) So essentially comparable really.

Doesn't need to be where it is in my point of view not an area I would expect to accidentally touch. Just looks better than blued pipes. Actually hope it doesn't hold too much heat and cause any issues. Plus makes the bike mine!

LOL sorry that was funny! I posted some pictures of the pipe wrap and of some stuff on bike I don't know what it is for people to tell me. Never got for a ride as got too hot after the rain dried and I want out for lunch for Canada Day!
