    DB Killer

The mt 07 doesnt have a db killer. The 'middle piece' (the big boxy one) of the stock exhaust is more of a sound labyrinth made to make the bike quieter... So i'm not sure what you're asking really..

    07 Higher mileage registered

Mine is at 15000km (about 9300miles). Bike has had no defects so far... Minor things I can notice are that there's a bit more vibration above 5-6k RPM than when it was newish, and a slight discoloration on the engine block.

    Engine block discoloration

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you experience a discoloration on the engine's surface? Mine is at 16,000km and i can notice a slight discoloration on the sides of the engine.

    MT07 R&D Bike

Hi, great to see this :) I've got the same exhaust system, so I'm very interested to see how this unfolds and how much power you make out of it.. On a side note: are the Power Commander maps sendable? e.g. If I get one, will you be able to send the map to me?

    Question for riders from Thessaloniki/Greece

Hi :) Have a question for anyone who might be from Thessaloniki or Greece. Can you recommend a place in Thessaloniki where one can dyno a motorcycle and check the air/fuel ratio? Got Akra Carbon so would like to test it out and see what's coming up.... Thanks, Cheers

    Akrapovic Carbon vs Akrapovic Titanium

Waiting for the Carbon version now. Logically thinking, metal would give a raspier note (sort of more ringy), whereas the carbon a more deeper. I also like the carbon look as well. If you don't have to adhere to regulations, just go for the carbon version. It's a lot cheaper.

    Jerky in low revs

I also have the same problem, but I still have the stock exhaust. Holding a steady throttle, usually in lower speeds, up to 35mph, in 2nd and 3rd gear, the cruising is a bit lumpy. I'm not sure what exactly is the problem, so I took it to the dealer, who also didn't know what to do with it.

    Steady throttle makes bike jerky

True words - it is possible that it's just a design characteristic of the MT-07's engine. Yesterday I was a experimenting a bit and noticed that it only happens in low speeds, up to 50-60kph. After that I cannot feel the problem.. I guess I'll probably just have to used to it, although city...

    Steady throttle makes bike jerky

Took it to the dealership this morning, the service person there took it out for a drive to see what's up. He said it was normal and nothing could be done bout it. Not sure where to go with that really. Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge and experiences.

    Steady throttle makes bike jerky

Thanks everyone for sharing the experiences! nobull - in standstill and neutral gear, the display isn't showing a change in the RPM, however judging by the sound I can tell that the RPM is varying. I'm taking this to the dealer tomorrow and will update you once I know what's up...

    Steady throttle makes bike jerky

Hi all, First I'd like to salute you all - looks like an amazing community you have here. Now to my problem. I've noticed that when I'm holding a steady throttle, the bike feels jerky/not smooth. Is this standard behaviour on this bike? When I do accelerate however, it pulls cleanly and...
