rear wheel stand?

I wanted to get a rear wheel stand for my MT.

When I was at the shop to arrange transport home I asked for one, but he looked at the bike and shook his head and said he had no idea, especially with the rear hub sliders fitted.

Have seen many people on youtube who has these and when installing my wheel tape yesterday I really missed one.

So, anyone have a stand to recommend?

A cheap, basic "Micron" paddock stand with rubber cups is more than good enough to support the MT, and easy to get in on and off of.

Can be had 2nd hand on ebay for £10-20. New for close to £25

I got this one from BS Moto Parts. LINKY

Does the job nicely, just be careful as you initially take the weight off the side stand onto the paddock stand. Does make chain maintenance a lot easier and better for the tyre if storing for a decent period of time.

Hi all,

I recently bought one of these from a German company.

I have to say its outstanding as it doubles up to be a dolly so you can move the bike about also its brilliant. You can decide to use either the frame supports to lift rear wheel or the U shaped ones to lift using bobbins which i use from R&G

I ordered it in BLACK from here: Motorbike Dolly Mover DS Yamaha MT-07 Rear Paddock Stand | eBay

Heres a demo video for you....

Great purchase performs really well.
