MT07 Tracer launched.

Been seeing quick reviews ( maybe pretend teasers from the company).
One big thing is the tank is actually a decent size instead of the peanut harley size tank on the MT/FZ.
May upgrade if the real one is released in Aus but word is the ridiculous toy version will be coming here.
What would be nice is if it will be a straight swap onto the MT/FZ. There is room as the std tank wastes a huge amount of space under the cover.

Yamaha Tracer 700 first ride review | Visordown

The fairing has the same adolescent manga transformers parachute design as the rest of the MT's though.

Changes from MT07 to Tracer 700.

The good:
+ Fairing: Useful and looks ok.
+ Instrument cluster: Moved forward of ignition key.
+ Tank: Useable volume up 25% (from 12 to 15 ltr)
+ Rear sub frame: Sturdier, accepts higher load, looks better.
+ Seat: Comfier for both rider and pillion, hight up 30 mm.
+ Pegs: Proper rubber pillion pegs, good position.
+ Swing arm: Alu instead of cheap steel, longer, proper adjuster block/nuts, accepts paddock stand spools.
+ Suspension: Rear travel up from 130 to 142 mm.
+ Exhaust: The new Akra Ti for Tracer 700 look super sweet, better than dito for MT07.

The bad:
- Hand guards: Ugly and useless.
- Front indicators: stupid hand guard mounted, need to relocate them to the fairing.
- Pegs: Rider foot pegs with comfy air pockets inside rubber, FJR1300 style. No need.
- Weight: Up about 12 kg or 6.5%
- Price: Up about 1000 EUR or 15%

Over all I think Yamaha did a good job.
