Hello all,
I'm from Nelson, New Zealand and have recently bought a MT 07. This is the LAMS (Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme) version peculiar to Australia and New Zealand. 655cc by sleeved down bore, restricted throttle, and re-mapping.
I've been riding since the early 1980s and have had mostly small capacity machines used for commuting, interspersed with the occasional larger bike. My wife kindly allows me NZ$50 a week from our earnings and after four years of saving, a new bike seemed in order.
Reading the posts as a guest I have already gained a lot of useful information and look forward to contributing anything I can.
