Daytona Hot Grips - Anyone have experence?

Hi there,

Wondering if anyone has had experience with Daytona Hot Grips.

Ive just installed some, but not getting any heat out of them...

Power

Earth

Left had grip

Switch

It powers up, but just flashes, no heat through the grips, if you hold the button down for 3 seconds it will turn off,

Any ideas?

This is probably not it but are you pressing the button for 3 seconds to turn it on too? Because you're supposed to according to the manual. You've probably looked through the manual and tried everything anyway, but in case you haven't here it is: MANUAL

I've got Daytona grips on mine, connected through a relay. RTFM!

Hold the button for 3 seconds to switch them on and they automatically go into the 4 minute pre-heat cycle. Each successive press of the button increases the heat level. You won't need them to pre-heat for the full 4 minutes, or you'll burn your pinkies!

Press for 3 seconds to switch them off.

Best heated grips I've ever had (and I've got factory fitted ones on my Beemer)

Try connecting them straight to the battery to make sure they're not faulty.
