Bolt striping

I have removed my seat numerous times to access different components. But the last few times, the seat bolts stripped on me. One at first, then the other.
I was able to work both of them slowly and put them back in, but it seams that they strip very easily. Anyone with the same issue?

They seem quite easy to cross thread, likely due to the seat foam pushing on the key and bolt
as you try to start it in the thread.

I've not had it start stripping but I did find I had to lean on the seat quite firmly to allow the bolts to turn easily in the holes.

I did it to one of mine, it would only go back in half way.

It was taken back to Yamaha UK for an unrelated problem, and came back with it fixed . . .!

When replacing them the seat foam tries to push them out of alignment
and so when you start the first few threads you have to be careful to get
it in straight, make sure the seat is on right and hold the foam back so
it does not push on the bolt or key.
