Hi all
as Yam are a bunch of Knobs it comes with great sadness that I will need to sell my 1 month old seat cowl. you may ask why I should slag off the company who have given us such a sweet motor.
Well it don't F -IN fit when you add a genuine Yamaha rear rack.
so as you know Yamaha gear is...
It would appear that I need further surgery on my left wrist which I have been told may make clutch control impracticable, but then I will lose a lot of money on my 2015 Cage, with Maxton forks, rear rack and box, Akra, as well as replacement side panels where the rack goes and a brand new...
Hi All
well I am well p....d off, I have fitted a Yamaha rear rack, which by the way was fun... luckily I was able to get the side plastics with the rack and box so no cutting to my plastic and after a little while I managed to get it all together only to find that I can't put my seat...
following a recent post regarding headlight on the Mt 07, I was impressed with the Cyclops hd4 3800 lm so emailed the company. it would appear that they would be prepared to look at a group discount for our group as they currently do so for the Fz07 group.
Now I am not aware that we currently...
While contemplating comfort for future trips, I went to a local dealer and looked at a Goldwing, it gave me a thought, which is.
is it possible to find a bracket which will allow me to put a back box on top of where the passenger seat would be, and then of course find a back box similar to the...
Hi all
does any one fancy doing a euro tour next year, uk riders could meet at a place convenient for them and perhaps meet up with our euro riders and continue through the better parts of Europe.
I will ride my MT but it is not a requirement
any thoughts ?
cheers

Hi all
I am after a screen tall enough to throw the wind over my lid...or at least not rip my head of at motorway speeds, I planning a euro trip next but would like to take the MT rather than buy the likes of a RT 1200 [they are cheap]
I have seen the Puig on site but it seems it may not be tall...
Hi Boys
I purchased a tail light addon [RED MINI LED SMOKE Brake Tail Stop Light For Yamaha MT-07] from ebay
it was not what I thought it would be, but nevertheless I attempted to fit onto the rear below existing tail light sitting partially on the number plate.
before I did so I checked it...
Hi all
I have ordered my new cartridges from Maxton for the front, gone with the middle option and they will be fitted on the 16th July, so lets hope the wife don't find out that I am £800 short in the bank.
That said I am looking forward to not touching the ground with my nose when I hit the...
Hi all
well here she is...a week of waiting for my yam seat cowl
now I still await those levers from hongkong similar to the ones some have already purchased.
forks to be changed by Maxton next :) that's if the missis does not find out
Hi all
We are all aware of the suspension shortcoming on the MT, and many a discussion has been had by me and many others. to throw a further item in the ring that works out cheaper than Maxton is something that appears to do the same as the Maxton set up with a cartridge on the front and...
Hi all
I am after the a seat cowl for my cage, I have looked at the aftermarket brands that to be fair are ok , but colour and design do not float my boat.
being a brand snob I as a consolation think the Yamaha version is still only ok but does has that brand stamp [ MT 07] in the cushion part...
hi all
the posts about gaining access to the dc plug was very helpful, so I thought that I would video it. like many have said it is the catch next to the fuel cap which can't be seen that causes the problem.
I hope the video helps a little, my word of caution is do not rag at the plastic once...

Hi all
I saw a guy who had put the throttle grip housing on the bars from a R6 on his mt07, this he said reduced the twist required for max revs.
I will be a Monkeys uncle if I can find it again, as I wish to do this mod but need more info on the year of the R6 part and did it require and cable...
Hi all
I know there is a comfort option for this bike £163 for main and pillion. however the cage has a rather groovy pillion seat and I am fine with that as I don't tend to carry. I do need the main seat as my arse is killing after 100 miles.
I am in Cheshire and wondered if any one knew of...
Hi all
I have been running with the db out of the Akra...I do love it on town journeys however on a run it makes my head bang :( , now I could get ear plugs but I don't so I put DB back in.
IT IS FAR TOO QUITE.
So has anyone made mods to the db killer to give more noise, is it a case of some...
Hi all
I have a ABBA stand and correct fittings, however you have to remove parts of the machine to actually use it.
as you may be aware this is a pain in the arse when all you want to do is a quick lift and clean, which I may add on other bikes takes 10 seconds with this stand.
so I am...
