No they haven't, Like I said they increased the fueling by two points, connected the bike to the computer and increased it by 2... the most simple job you could imagine even the most stupid mechanic could manage it. I spent the last two years in and out the dealer with them trying everything...
That's fine mate, you can ignore the advice from people who have fixed the issue. As someone who had a bike cutting out multiple times every week this fixes the issues and has fixed the issue for many others.
Ok again just get them to increase the fueling by 2 points, problem solved...... Stop being a push over and tell them to do this.
And Yamaha knowing nothing is bs because I have reported it to them directly and many people in the uk have.
Get Yamaha to replace you clutch switch under warranty, I had the same problem with mine. You also need to get them to increase the fueling by 2 points, that will stop the bike cutting out as a lot of us in the UK have had to do this.
Wurth chain lube is good and what I use most of the time however you do have to reapply it each time after you ride in the rain, For winter get Wurth chain wax instead and just use it at most once a week.
That's odd cause the bike is quite buzzy higher in the rpm, I don't do a lot of motorways but when I do I often sit at mid 70's cause above that it is buzzy.
Saying that op you shouldn't be having trouble after a few mins, after about an hour my hands feel a bit tingly but nothing more. Are...
Bikes with no extra security are so easy to just push away, just keep a decent disk lock under your seat, some abus disk locks you can get a mounting bracket that screw in between the frame and pillion foot pegs so it's always on the bike and quickly accessible.
Yea I think this is the case, I see it as the police being given powers to be able to do something about the nuisance groups and to be honest even if they did want to prevent any kind of grouping of regular law abiding people they wouldn't have the man power to.
So the solution, don't think too much just do. I've got the bagster seat on mine and the pillion seat is an absolute pain in the ass to get on, the stock seat I could do blindfolded but this one just refuses to go on sometimes.
Yea I assume so, I asked them to do it many times when I took it in and was told it couldn't be done, had to give them details of another dealer that's done it before. Said it's an easy job only takes a couple mins.
Had all this done at slocombes so take your bike there and talk to Steve, he...
Do not buy Oxford chains or any other chain you can get at a bike shop as they are all garbage, over hardened till they become brittle and can easily be cropped.
Either go to Almax Security Chains Limited | Almax Security Chains or Sold Secure Approved & Police Approved Ground Anchors, Security...
Forgot to reply to this earlier, Had my clutch switch replaced and the fueling increased by a couple points and so far after riding for three weeks not a single cut out. Don't know which one of these fixed it or it could have been both.
