As well as riding in a group of 2 or more, I've also just read that one of the activities banned under the terms of the injunction by Harlow is the sounding of horns. Unbelievable... So you may be in contempt of court for sounding your horn, one of the most effective safety devices on a...
Twats...
So I pull up at some lights where another biker is waiting. We have a chat, the lights turn green and we ride off on the same route. We are now breaking the law. The police pull us over and we are in court for riding in a group of 2 or more. Totally unenforcible imo, seems to...

Would have been a great video if you were on the racetrack :mad:
I know I'm a grumpy gills but you've really got to take more care of yourself and others. Riding like that on a public road is just asking for grief. See we bitch about drivers switching lanes in front of us, but in that...
I've just bought the latest MCN and the MT-10 has an excellent write up. If you like the looks it may be worth test riding one when the dealers have it
IMO no nothing wrong with what you are doing. Exactly the same happens to me, and like you I shop around on the interweb come renewal time. It's exactly as you say, the insurance companies make their money on a portion of over-inflated premiums and admin charges. If some poor sucker has this...
Hi kodde. I'd buy these from you. Would it be worth you printing x amount of these based on feedback in this thread. If you are willing then give a price and postage to UK (or other countries). I'm sure many on this thread would pay a sufficient amount for it to be worth your while.
Blue, what version of the denali soundblaster (or is it the soundbomb) did you buy, and where did you get it from in the UK? Also if you have any more pics of the way you fitted it that would be great as I am thinking of this myself.
I'd definitely recommend powder coating the side covers, they look way better with a satin black finish. See my post at http://www.motorcycle-talk.net/forum/mt-07-fz-07-modifications/1153-sorted-abba-stand-post14782.html#post14782
It's on the official Yamaha website:
MT-10 2016 - Motorcycles - Yamaha Motor UK
All the tech specs (some are N/A, notably power and torque) and lots of great photos in the gallery. No price yet though.
I was replying to another post this morning, and whilst referring to the highway code I realised that filtering was not such as gray area as I thought. In fact the highway code mentions it a few times as a perfectly legal manoeuvre for motorcyclists or cyclists (as long as no other rules are...
Just checked the GOV website for the highway code as I didn't want to be giving advice on a forum without knowing for sure.
So it does seem like it might be a bit of a gray area. I/you should not be overtaking on chevrons bordered by a broken white line unless it is necessary. Maybe plod would...
@nobull
You must have had a particularly bad cop then. AFAIK riding/driving on chevrons is ok as long as they are not bordered by a solid white line, now that is illegal. A dashed line bordering the chevrons is advisory. Now I may be completely wrong but that is the way I remember being taught...
